About Me
Welcome to my portfolio. I am Alessandra Zia M. Guimbal, a student from the University of San Carlos, under the program Bachelor in Special Needs Education with specialization in Early Childhood Education-Montessori Education.
I chose to become an early childhood teacher, because I genuinely enjoy being around children. I don’t know what the future holds, but I know being in this field would make me happy.
I believe that education is a gateway for success, everyone deserves to have equal opportunities and access to quality education. This goal will be achieved through the dedication and consistency of both the public and private institutions. However, children with exceptionalities are often left out of the equation as they are still misunderstood by society. As a future educator, I will do my best to be inclusive and to accommodate my students' needs to help them reach their full potential. My experience in the in-campus training made me realize how important little children are in building society, each of them are the blocks that hold down the bridge of civilization.
